How to remove the Q-assign widget

There are times when we don't want all the users to disable themselves from an Assignment Group through  the Q-assign widget. The widget can be removed as follows:

Steps to remove the Q-assign widget in Classic View

1. Go to Setup | Home | HomePage Layouts
2. Edit the Home Page Layout
3. Disable Q-assign checkbox and click Next
4. On the next page, Click Save.
   
   

Steps to remove the Q-assign Widget from a Lightning View

1. Go to Setup
2. In the Quick Settings box type 'App Manager' and click on it
3. In App Manager, press detail (upside-down triangle) button of Lightning Usage App and click on Edit
   
   
4. Click on the Utility Bar in 'App Settings' side menu
5. Click on the Remove button with the UserAvailabilityComponent and click Save
   
   
6. Click on the gear icon on the top of the Home page and press Edit Page
7. Remove/Delete the availability component and click on Save
