Q-assign for Salesforce Installation Guide: How To Install our App with Ease
To install Q-assign, follow the steps below:

Visit App exchange. Log in to your account (If you are installing from link provided from Ortoo, please proceed to step 6). Click the below link for
Q-assign on app exchange: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N30000003IUgVEAW -
Click on the Get it Now button
- Select one option, where you want to install the Q-assign app. Either Production or Sandbox (For more details please contact your administrator). See screenshot below:
- Read the terms and conditions, if you are agreed, select the checkbox. Click on Confirm and Install button. You can also download the customization guide by clicking on customization guide link
- Salesforce wants you to log in again to ensure your identity. Type your Username and Password to log in

Select Install for Admins Only (recommended - to prevent unwanted access to the Users and Profiles), then use the Permission Sets to give access to the Users

Once you have installed the Q-assign successfully. You will receive the confirmation e-mail on your Salesforce registered e-mail address

After that you will be redirected to the Installed Packages menu. Where you can see all the packages you have installed in your account. The installation is now complete
Q-assign Licenses and Permission Sets
Assign Q-Assign's license and appropriate permission set to all the users you would like to use Q-Assign. Please see Q-assign Licenses and Permission Sets page to know about assigning licenses and different permission sets to users. This is a mandatory step, as users won't be able to use Q-assign properly if they haven't been assigned a license and an appropriate permission set.
Accessing Q-assign's tabs
Now that Q-assign is installed, you can view Q-assign's tabs by clicking on the dropdown on the top right corner of the page then click on 'Ortoo: Q-assign'
After clicking on Ortoo: Q-assign, you will be redirected to the Q-assign Home tab, and will see the other Q-assign tabs along the top of your browser page. You can also access the Q-assign tabs by pressing the Salesforce + icon.
