QA Licenses Tab

 

Our licensing structure is based on the total number of Q-assign users and target queues. This includes both users and queues added as group members, as well as manager/admin users who access Q-assign but are not added as group members. Please note that licenses cannot be directly assigned to a queue; they are accounted for as members of Assignment Groups. 

 

To access and manage this licensing information, navigate to the QA Licenses (Beta) tab using the App Launcher: 

Accessing QA Licenses Tab: 

  1. Open the App Launcher. 
  2. Search for the "QA Licenses" tab and Click on it.

 

 

Once we are on the QA Licenses tab, we can gain access to filtering options, that allow us to precisely view and manage licensing information: 
 


 

  1. "Active User" Filter: Displays users who are members of one or more Assignment Groups. 
  2. "Inactive User" Filter: Highlights users who possess Q-assign licenses but are currently inactive in Salesforce. 
  3. "Queue" Filter: Shows queues that are members of one or more assignment groups. 
  4. "Other Licensed User" Filter: Presents users holding a Q-assign package license but are not part of any Assignment Groups. 

It is important to be aware that if a Q-assign license is assigned to a user who is no longer active in Salesforce, manual intervention is necessary to revoke the license. Q-assign does not automatically reclaim licenses when a user becomes inactive in Salesforce. 

 

Managing Filters

We can efficiently manage our filters with the following actions: 
 


 

1. Save Filters: Save our applied filters for future use by clicking the 'Save Filters' button.

 
 

2. Load Filters: Quickly apply previously saved filters by clicking the 'Load Filters' button. This retrieves our preferred filter settings, making it easy to view the information we need without reapplying filters manually. 


 

3. Reset Filters: Revert to the previously applied filter settings by clicking the 'Reset Filters' button. 


 

4. Show/Hide Filters: Customize our view by showing or hiding filters using the 'Show Filters' button. 


 

These features empower us to tailor the QA Licenses (Beta) tab to our specific needs, providing a seamless experience in monitoring and managing Q-assign licenses within our Salesforce instance.
